So today has just been one of those days. Started with getting pooped on by a puppy at work and went downhill from there. I got a remote starter for my car for Xmas so it was supposed to be done today. Dropped the car off last night and they told me it would be done first thing in the morning. I left work 30 minutes early (was supposed to pick it up at 5:30 and it is 45 minutes from where I work, so had to leave that early to get there on time). I get there shortly before 5:30 and they tell me it's not done, another 30-45 minutes. So you mean I left work early for nothing? I love my job and was always taught a good work ethic. I get there on-time (usually early, before my boss gets there most of the time) and I stay until everything is done (even if that means an extra 30 minutes). I HATE being late and leaving early and calling off. I really try to avoid it and I felt bad leaving early today (we were pretty short staffed). But I left and it ended up being pointless. So I went home and waited for my dad so he could bring me over to get it. He got home an hour later than he said he would, right as they were closing. I called and they said they still weren't done. Well, I just get a call, an hour and a half after I was supposed to pick it up (remember, it was supposed to be done first thing this morning) saying that it's done and I can come pick it up now. Gee, thanks
It just annoys me when I'm paying someone to do a job and they can't stick to the time constraints...aaaagggggghhhhh
