FINALLY!!! Someone let me take pictures!!

This is Jack, my great-nephew (and no, I'm not 75 before you ask!)

And this is Jack's big sister, Katie. I'm not as happy with Kate's pictures as I am Jack's - she was hard to pin down longer than 2 seconds! I really like the last two, but #3 still needs some "tweaking" with the lighting - I can't seem to lighten the right side without blowing out the left. Any suggestions?

What program do you use to put the frames around the photos?

Jen, I used Photoshop Elements to do the framing. Looks good on screen, but I have no idea what happens when it goes to print!

Can you tell me HOW to put the frames on the pictures? I'm taking a Photoshop class now, but we haven't gotten that far yet. I really like the effect, even including the date on the "mat" of the picture.

The baby shots are precious. I love the frames. I got PS Elements for Christmas and have only used it once. I took a class without having Elements. I wish I could take the class over. The shots of Katie are sooo cute.

I picked up a book by Scott Kelby - it's more than paid for itself! I'd be more than happy to send you the step-by-steps if you'd like, but there are too many to post on here! Let me know.

The first one took forever, but once you've got it figured out, it's a snap - takes about a minute.
