My older son's best friend was recently diagnosed with brain cancer, and things have been looking pretty bleak. He has lost a lot of weight because he's unable to eat. He has also become very withdrawn and depressed ( so much to deal with when you're 17
) I went to see him this afternoon, and for the first time in 3 weeks he was standing up , and had even gone outside
His bone marrow scan came back negative, and his most recent MRI showed nothing out of the ordinary
We're still waiting for the results of his spinal tap, but just to see this kid smiling and talking to his friends outside in the sunshine made my whole week
Keep that pixie dust coming!!!
