Finally: PhotoPass for Rides!

REVISED: The cast member last night either didn't explain it correctly or I had a senior moment. All I know for sure is that it was very late . . . anyway . . .

There is a new PhotoPass in town: now if you purchase one ride photo you can get a black "ride" PhotoPass that will allow you to DOWNLOAD it or you can purchase just the download for $15.95.

This is separate from the regular PhotoPass, and the ride photos will NOT be included on your account if you don't purchase a download version of it (or purchase a print and get the download at no additional charge).

If you purchase the downloads, these photos will also be included on your CD (if you buy one).

So we paid for one 5x7 from Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and were able to download the photo when we got back to the room . . . great to share with family at home via email or Facebook!


Not as exciting as I'd thought last night (early this morning?), but a step in the right direction.

Where did you find this info at? This will be our first time using photo pass and want to get the most for our money we were kinda sad when we read it would be more to add ride photos except TT (which may be closed when we get there 4-15) so this would be awesome!

I know this is an older post but I am so confused about this whole "on ride photos" thing too. We don't usually buy the photo pass CD or any packages, we just buy one or two pictures after we get home BUT having on-ride photos would be cool. So I have the same question as this poster!

I think that the revised 1st post is referring to a special card, since they say it is a black card. But I do know for a FACT (because we did it in April) that you can have your ride pix added to your PP+ card. That was one of the main reasons we got pp+. We tend to get 5-10 pix from Buzz...

okay so let me get this straight. If I buy Photopass+ I can get all my rides on the photopass+ for free? Or for free after the first photo buy? And if I don't I have to purchase the $15 photo download every time to have it on the regular photopass?
