Finally on to VMK

I got on last night and didn't get kicked out, so here's hoping whatever has been keeping me out for 1.5 years is done. I only stayed in about 15 minutes because I had no idea what I should be doing. Tried to talk to a few people, but they didn't respond.

My question is, does it always take so long to get logged in? It took about 40 minutes from the time I typed in my name/password before I was really in. We have DSL. Just trying to figure out if that is normal.

If you have not been on in a long time, it is possible to take many minutes for you to refresh and re-enter. From now on, though, with DSL, it should be fairly quick unless you see posts complaining about slow entry times.

We once took that long for a few days and it turned out we had to clean our temporary memory and maybe even our cookies. After that it takes about 30 seconds to log in.

What to do? Check out the games, stores and people rooms. Everythign has progressed so much in the past year and a half. Eventually start doing some quests to earn car magic and space suit to get into that area. Its a bit over whelmiing so start by accquaiting youslef with the lands is my suggestion.
