But now I've got this new "wiz-bang" computer, so I move at lightening speed and see my buddies on the DIS!

I was away from the computer for the past few hours, and just came back to check the DIS...

And now I sit here feeling like all of you just gave me a good strong hug.

Dang! You guys...I just wuv you!!!

Poppy, the opossum, is doing great! He's finally healthy and close to "normal" (still has a bit of a limp, but gets around just fine). Not much of a pet, though - all he does is eat, sleep, and potty. Mostly sleep. DH took the door off the guest bathroom vanity, and now Poppy sleeps under the sink among a whole bunch of old sheets. Poppy's very gentle (although he does have 50 very sharp teeth), likes to lick earlobes and get tangled up in ponytails. Being a wild animal, he does have a pretty musky scent, so he gets a bath at least once a week. Scares the begeebies out of anyone he meets, even when I warn them what I'm about to show them! He couldn't hurt a fly if his life depended on it...geez, I could talk about him all day - but I'll spare you.
