Finally, magicbands!!!

Great we can order Magic Bands but still no fireworks, parades, park hopping, character meets, spas, boat rentals, dinner shows, dessert parties, tours, movies under the stars, campfires, fun...I guess one thing at a time. I really need to be more patient.

I look at it this way. We go to Disney every couple of years. We have seen the parades, the fireworks, character dining, dinner shows, you name it. If this would be my first or even second time going, I would cancel. But never will I get the chance to see the park with such limited capacity. So I look at it as a trade off. We will return to see all the bells and whistles, but seeing the bare bones could be special too.

That's a unique perspective that I share. Still not worth the prices for most people though. We may yet go in September but since we have no kids we can find other ways to be entertained. Just gonna miss Food and Wine cause ya know that's next to be canceled.
 

I just ordered bands for our August trip that is still relatively unknown and up in the air. I guess if we don’t go they will just be sort of an additional non refundable deposit, but at least we’ll get to keep the bands.
 
I've been trying to order our Magic Bands for our August 15 trip. How did you do it?? I ordered our bands pre-Covid and the order was cancelled (and refunded). When I go to My Disney it shows order is processing and won't let me reorder. But it just shows grey bands for each person (yuck). Maybe I need to call customer service?

If you go on My Disney Experience there should be an option to order! I did it online- just got me and my boyfriend's magicbands yesterday for our 8/21 trip!!!!! Now it finally feels real :love:

It's curious though, that the "special pre-order price" is the same as the regular price.
I wondered that too, but it’s a present for my wife. I wonder if they are “testing” the waters to see what people would spend for exclusive bands that you can’t get online, in store, or through a third party. These come linked, so you can’t buy them through the resell market.

Yup - My Disney Experience is showing "order processing", but there is no order to process :badpc:. When I go to see our magicbands, they are just grey. I think I'm going to have to bug customer service and request some pixie dust to fix this. BTW, we are leaving the day you guys arrive. We'll try to not have ALL the fun, and leave some for you

LOL yes please leave some for us! With the reduced capacity hopefully there will be plenty to go around :)
 
We received ours on Saturday for our trip in late October. Seemed very early for us to receive them already.
 
Did you order premium bands? Those ship immediately.
No, just the basic free blue and purple ones. Our trip was originally scheduled for April and we moved it to October. We selected bands prior to moving our trip. So the only thing I can think is that its somehow related to that.
