finally i won something! i am one of those people who is like oh i never win and i did! and it was directly related to a link on the DIS board so i wanted to thank everyone who always dishes on deals.

i recently found hunt4freebies from a link on here. i surfed the blog and from there i signed up for a coupon which ironically my printer was out of ink and i did not print before it expired. so no free prouduct but the company got my email and the following week in the product newsletter they asked to submit stories for a mini contest. i sent in a quick story and got an email today i will get a gift box from them this week and my story was posted on their website! retail value is $25 to $40, not the mega millions but i will take it.

now if only i could figure out how to earn more swagbucks to get more free stuff...

Congrats! Everyone makes fun of me for entering on line contests but so far I have won a hot air balloon ride, a book, a box of k cups, a spatula, 2 play tickets, a cd and if you count houseparty an Xbox game and a Keurig Vue! This is only in the past year.

The only thing I've ever won was a small/cheapie walkman. I was given a raffle ticket as I boarded a boat for a tour. I still have it though it doesn't work.

Unfortunately, that was 26 years ago.

Woo Hoo! I love winning stuff! I have won a trip to Florida when I was a kid (didn't get to go - gave it to friends ), a radio, a wireless mouse, a "goodie bag" at a conference, several House Parties and the best thing I've won was 5 Lifetime dvds & $1,000.

*insert happy dance here* I love doing online sweepstakes. I have won lotz of great stuff. Movie tix, gift cards, books umbrellas free food coupons and even three years of dvc points (that win was from america's funniest home vid. no video just a sweepstakes) gonna miss those points when they end this may. This year alone I am at around 1500 dollars in cash and prizes.
sure folks tend to roll their eyes when i tell them what my hobby is but hey who cares. I will be staying at the Grand Cal Villas in a few weeks for free. The last time we stayed there there was a mix up with the res. The cast members gave us tix for a free table service for all three of us for messing up our free room. Yes I did tell them that the room was a sweepstakes win, and in fact it was noted on the reservation but they said "No take the dinner just our way of keeping this the happiest place on earth"
This year I started off with a 1,000.00 visa gift card from my coke rewards so off to a good start.
but I am always looking for disney sweeps to enter.

thanks everyone. you guys at pros at contests! i am the type of person that is typically only lucky for other people. like my mother used to take me as a volunteer at her companys (they were a NPO) luncheon fundraisers, and she always won a prize with me there. or the first time i went to a casino i told my friend which card to pick in video poker and she won $100 the first round. maybe my luck this year will be selfish.
