Pleased you finally have a date for Cam's op

After a really eventful day yesterday Cam is nowon an emergency list for 24th Feb - basically this is the quickest they can put in him as the consultant is off on his hols as of today and thats the day he returns !!

I dont reallyt know what to think the team were concerned that if left now he has no eye in he will get an infection and then make the operation 10 x harder and they were also worried about the possibilty of a big bleed from his socket scared me half to death im so pleased its half term next week so I can have him here with me without feeling guilty about missing school.

Im so disappointed that itsnow happening before his birthday and he broke my heart last night when he said all he wants forhis birthday is to not be in pain. If only I could promise that be would the case but sadly I believe he will be and I cant do anything about it.

There is light at the end of your tunnel and things will now be happening quicker than you thought - which has to be a good thing for Cam. He has lots of birthdays to come, each of which will be extra special for all of you after what you have been through.
