Just wanted to say hi and wish y'all were here!!!
Actually no we don't
....the campgrounds and parks have started to get crowded the closer we get to Thanksgiving!
We canceled our trip 2 weeks ago and then decided a few days later to go anyway and let Obama pay the mortgage or maybe the government will bail us out?
, so we are spending all of our savings and letting Countrywide have the new house!!!
We are singing jingle mail instead of jingle bells!!!
No, really guys, please starting eating more chicken or this will be true soon enough. We are sitting out of chickens for over a month and can't stand to sit at home and worry about paying the payment! We got online on 11/15 after canceling 8 reservations the week before(we were trying to piece together a Thanksgiving trip) and were able to get, much to our surprise, a full hook-up for 11/18-11/27. We decided not to tell the kids that the trip was back on and surprised them! They are soooo dorky! We told them we were going somewhere in Florida to the beach. They suspected Disney around Lake City until my daughter saw a truck from Atlanta and told my son we were still close to Atlanta
. Between the DS and books they were clueless! Anyways, they didn't figure it out until we went under "that" sign!!!
We were able to add 11/27-11/29 when we checked in so we may stay for Thanksgiving...depending on the crowds.
The parks are more crowded than we thought, but we have never been during this time so we didn't know what to expect. The longest we waited for a ride was Toy Story and it was about 45 minutes. We have gotten fast passes for all the "big rides" because the average waits are 40-50 minutes plus. I think Soar'n was 70 yesterday. That may not be long waits to some, but it is too long for us!
We haven't met anyone from the Disboards except LarryJ...I enjoyed meeting you!
We are in a great loop except for the barking dogs(Rog-I didn't have time to buy the dog silencer!!!
) and the gas leak at our comfort station while I washed clothes............I will type more on that later when my headache and nausea go away!
How do I post pics? I will try to add some later!
