After all my complaining, I thought I'd let you all know I got my PIN code at last! And it actually came to my ORIGINAL account, not the new one I set up with the hopes of tricking Disney into sending me one! :flower3: It works for my dates if we do a split stay, but since my mom recently just budgeted our trip and was a little taken-aback, I'm not sure she'll be up for the extra $100 or more per night it would cost to upgrade. (And frankly, I've been spending too much money lately, too, but....it's so tempting!)

Anyway, thanks for the tips, everyone! Sherry was right. Be patient and SOMETHING will probably come.

I'm not enough of an expert to know exactly if that means that the deal is technically good through that whole date range or not. Of course, the regular site at http://disneyland.disney.go.com/special-offers/ lists 30% off stays through October 1, 2011, so the 35% isn't unheard of...but it's enough to change staying on-site for a couple days from "No way can we do that; those 2 days would cost $200 more than our 4 days off-site!" to "Wow; those 2 days will cost as much as 4 days off-site, but maybe we could swing it..."

I'm glad you finally got one! I know you tried countless times to get one!:rotfl2: Good things come to those who wait, as the old saying goes!

I think when I let the genie out of the bottle and told folks about how to get the PIN Code, it turned into PIN code mania, and people were desperate to get a PIN but not really thinking it through about timing and waiting for some of them to cycle out/expire. At that point, I kind of wished I could take back what I revealed! It seemed like a lot of people began trying to get a PIN, even if they couldn't use it - just to see if they'd get one! And that only prevented others from getting them.

So I think Disney Destinations just maxed out on the PIN's for a while when they got inundated with Saved Offers. I'm glad to see that it is now working somewhat again.:cool1::goodvibes

I've been trying to get a PIN code forever. I lucked out and got the Disney Visa promo early, so I've got my room booked at PPH for 30% off, but that extra 5% sure wouldn't hurt.

Hopefully next time they'll send you one you can use.

Thanks! It's not a wasted code; I MIGHT still use this one for a split stay. It probably depends on my mom's reaction. It should work out to about $100 extra each for us, which still feels pretty steep to me for 2 nights in the Paradise Pier...but it just seems like it'd be so nice!

And the park probably closes around 8 on one of our nights, so it's reasonable, right? Get an extra MM and an early entry into DCA, and have some quality time in a Disney hotel for the only night during the trip when I'll actually be in the hotel room? :rolleyes1

(The only PIN code I could absolutely use without the least hesitation would be, oh, a 60% off code. :rotfl: But this one is enough to open the possibility, and I like dreaming!)

Well, my mom's on board! I've got a cold and it's 6:30 on a Sunday so I'm not calling tonight, but I'll call them up tomorrow and see if I can book us a room for a split-stay.
