Finally got a good car rental through priceline, but quick ?

Has anyone who had a bid accepted through priceline and the renter was alamo, were you able to use your *********** membership to go along with it and bypass the counter?

I would like to somehow do that and bypass the counter. If so how would I do it since the priceline reservation doesn't have a barcode?

I always bypass the counter, but I have my Alamo info (and other rental companies frequent renter info) entered into my Priceline profile.

Where do you input this information at?

Also how do you bypass the counter? I know if you go straight through with alamo you have some barcode to scan at the kiosk but the priceline one doesn't. Also the reservation number is longer than what they provide.

Nevermind I found out where you can fill that information out.

Wish I knew that before I placed my bid, now I have to stop by the counter and let them know I'm a QS member.

When I bid on Priceline a few trips ago (18 months ago), I couldn't use my QS membership with Alamo to bypass the counter (I could have used the kiosk, but didn't know that until after my trip when someone told me), but you couldn't do the straight to the garage thing.

I also wanted to do the on-line check-in and it won't let you do that with a coupon, I know or with a Priceline bidding reservation.

By saying I bypass the counter I mean I stop at one of the automated kiosks near the counter. Enter the conformation info, take the printout and off I go.
