Finally decided it's the POLY

Hi all,

As you can see from my subject, I've decided to stay in the Poly for our May 2005 land/sea vacation but now my question is do you have any idea which longhouse they will put us in??? I don't know much about the longhouses at all but it seems alot of the standard rooms are in Tokelu (sp) and everyone seems to really like them due to their location and size. Any comments or suggestions on how to get an upgrade would be greatly appreciated since I want to make this trip x-tra special for my dd.

My First and still my Favorite Resort!

You have made a wonderful decision...IMHO

Our most recent stay at the Poly was in a GV room in the Samoa building...ground floor with a direct view of the Volcano Pool. It was on the end of the building closest to the Lagoon. I think it was room 1610.

Literally 10 yards to the Pool! Great view, location, theme, etc, etc..etc..

this is on my list to stay , but dh wants to stay at akl. we have only been staying at all stars, cause we usually bring dd's friends with us. i keep telling dh that when we go alone we will stay at the place WE really want. lol....

Excellent choice! We LOVE the POLY!

You may not have too much choice about where your room is located. I read somewhere that the land/sea guest rooms are all blocked together to facilitate the moving of luggage and checkout process. Don't sweat it though. Every location at the Poly is great for it's own reasons! You will love just being there.

I'll be there in 44 days.

You'll have a blast and there are very few bad rooms. I've stayed there doing the Disney Land/Sea and we always liked the rooms we were given.

Uncle Scar was there a particular longhouse that they put you in? Thanks every1 - I'm so glad we'll be staying here and I know we'll love it!! Can't wait but I have a little under a year
