I also saw that the Village people are going to be there. That cracks me up. I'm definitely going to have to take a peek at that.

I just did a little bit of unexpected Disney-related shopping!

Passporter is clearing out some old stock again! They currently have the 2004 Deluxe Refil kit for $1.95! It has the 2004 text, but more importantly...14 Passpockets!

I usually order the updated guide section once every few years, but I try to buy new pockets for each trip (since you fill them out each day!). A set of pockets alone is usually $5.99, so this is an awesome deal! I ordered 2 sets- I figure I'll have pockets for this trip and my next, and I can give one of the guidebook sections to Kelly! (Not sure what I'll do with the other one yet!)

I wish I had more to update when it comes to trip plans, but we seem to be in that weird timeframe right now where we can't do much- AP rates aren't out yet, we STILL don't know exactly how many days Kelly can get off, etc!

I DO, however, know that in 108 days, I'll be at Disney World!

I can't believe that on Thursday, I will actually hit the double digits!!!

Not many actual trip updates- I keep meaning to discuss it with Kelly & Katie, but we never seem to be online at the same time lately!

Still no luck getting a DVC studio, and still a few weeks till AP discounts come out, so I'm in trip planning limbo!

That, however, is no way to celebrate the 100 day mark, so I thought I'd throw in some photos here!

(A side note first- while browsing Craigslist for jobs a few days ago, I found one announcing a new 3000 sq ft Crocs store opening nearby!!! Is it wrong that I'm tempted to go work there temporarily just for the discounts? Shoes! Glorious shoes! Acres and acres of shoes!)

Oooh, I forgot to mention the one actual trip update I do have! Kellylou and I have been discussing tattoos a lot lately, and we are considering adding on a side trip down to Miami Beach to visit Miami Ink! It's only a 3 1/2 hour drive, most of which is along the ocean. Sounds like fun!

That's all the news for now! Things are a bit crazy here this week, between having family staying here, my beloved car Apple breaking down, a new Harry Potter movie to go see tomorrow, AND the 7th book coming out on Friday! So many exciting things!

If you're serious about getting inked, Hart & Huntington recently opened up a shop on the Universal City Walk. They'd probably be easier to get a seat than Miami Ink, and I think H&H would do a better job. Athough the drive down the coast is much nicer than a drive to Universal.

Her alternator died, which amazes me, because she's only 3 years old! They just don't make em like they used to! But then when I went to the mechanic to pick her up, she STILL didn't work! Needless to say, it was a frustrating few days!

Hey, why don't they make bellydancing smileys? I feel discriminated against!

I spent some time last night raiding my box of scrapbook supplies for things to decorate our Autograph Book of Awesomeness with. In case you've missed previous posts about it, the plan with this book is not to get the regular character autographs, but instead to let fun people that we meet, fellow DISers, and CMs that enhance our trip sign! Way more fun!

Here's what it looks like so far:

(I used a plain black moleskine reporter's watercolor notebook, which turned out to be perfect!)

The front cover- the "Pirate" part is a sticker, and the "Yo Ho" is a neat rub-on embellishment. I just hope it stays on!

A few pages got colorful backgrounds- I can't decide yet if I like them or not.

A few are Disney themed...

one with the Adv Club in mind...

And a few are just general decorations.


I'm sort of wishing now that I had stuck with the pirate theme all the way through the book- those pages are my favorites, and it would have been more cohesive. I thought the other pages might be fun for CMs that work in certain parks, though? I haven't really made up my mind on if I like how it turned out or not.

I'm hoping to hunt down some more pirate themed scrapbook supplies to add a few more decorated pages. I think I'll probably leave a lot of blank ones, too, for people to decorate however they like. There's a handy pocket in the back of the book that I can use to hold a small assortment of stickers for people to add to their pages, too.

Now I just hope that people actually want to sign it!
