Finally: Christmas 2006 Slideshow

Sorry its taken so long but I have just finished doing the family slideshow (over 600 photos)

I have just done a smaller version for you all to see. This is Part One - Part 2 now posted further down thread .
So grab yourself a coffee, sit back and enjoy the slideshow.

Ps : Turn your speakers on as the music,although not relevant, is lovely.

I know what the problem is now - photobucket only uploads 5 minutes for free so I will upgrade to Bucket pro and post the full slideshow later.

Really great pics and a great way to display them.

I like the landing pic on the plane seeing the tower in the background.

Also you've made me hungry, so nice food shots. (my favourite being the nice pink burgers you get).

Wonderful photos Sarah !! It sure brough back memories...The photo slide I saw was only 4 minutes and somehting minutes...I imagine the rest take a while to be uploaded.

The music was really nice....do you know if that music is on any cd..that I could find at DLP ? If so, maybe I could buy from them by sending an email.

After viewing those photos I can't wait to go back...!!

I am in work at the moment but the music I used was downloaded free from this site. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1163839

On the family version I used the acctual music from the parks which I again downloaded form another site.

Wow thank you for all the pictures! Could you please tell me more about the Beauty and the Beast picutre? Was it taken in the Disneyland Hotel? And was it part of a show? Because there are so many characters!

We only really stumbled onto the show which was held in the reception area at The DLH on Friday 22nd December. We were leaving Inventions at about 7.30pm - It was a Christmas Special. They performed several songs and mingled for about half an hour afterwards.

It was a nice touch and thankfully only the people staying at the hotel or using the restaurants that night knew about it. We watched from the first floor balcony.

Lots more pics of that show but could not upload any more as my file was too big.

I tink we were just 'lucky'

Sarah..the photos are beautiful... All of you look great. The way you made this slideshow is great. My daughters loved seeing your photos...!! and the music is great. If you don't mind me asking...I tried to find the exact same songs, but after downloading the ones I thought it could be I had no luck.

Do you think you could tell me under which title I can find the one that you used on part one ? I would love to do a slideshow with music to forward to my parents. After all they "funded" this trip and even if they have the slideshow, to have it with music it's completely different...it gives you happy feeling .

I also loved your Thank you at the end !!

Its title is Opening Ceremony V3 Martina. I agree - Its got that 'feel good' factor

Those slideshows wer pulled together in a windows programme called Windows Movie Maker. It comes free with any Windows package here in the UK. Check yours out as you may already have it

Here is the link http://www.savefile.com/projects/604537 to the download page the song is on. Its number 6 on the list. Download number 8 as well - that another song that makes you feel all Disney inside too.
