I booked Poly yesterday with a rate of $229 before tax. It had bothered me spending so much money for a room...i thought my husband might just flip...but I did it anyway to lock in a 6 night stay. Today I checked with Disney.com and they had availability for 5 of those nights for $148 w/o tax...and booked that...that price I can pass by the husband! Then just cancelled the Poly. To me it seemed much easier booking on-line...I was getting stressed and tired of getting the un-excited castmate answering the phone on the 800 # or getting cut off! Now I can relax. What area is recommended for woodsview with bunkbeds,non-smoking...someplace quiet so my husband can sleep at night and not get grumpy. What is the pool like...do you have to rush out in the morning so you can get a seat? Also what is the childrens club like? I feel a sense of calm now that I am finally done(hopefully)with all these reservations! Next year Cancun...It will be a lot easier!Just kidding! Thanks for all the help and comments!

rapunzul - tell them what you just mentioned in your email . . . something with bunkbeds but quiet. I would also recommend the higher the floor the better. When we had the woods view, we got the 5th floor and were able to see the fireworks at night from our balcony :)

Our room was also not too far from the elevators - It really wasn't loud, and it was soooo nice to just hop down the evelator to get coffee/soda with our refillable mugs. Heck we even let the kids (5 and 9 at the time) go down and get it for us - we were like 5 doors down from the elevator.

Also, the Electric Light Pagent Water Parade passes by WL every evening. Enjoy your trip!

I too booked a WV when we go. I can't wait to see the fireworks at night! DOes anyone think I should call up ahead of time to request the 5th floor? Also should I call to request a fridge ahead of time? My travel agent requested one but you know how that goes when you get there. I definetly need one becasue I have to refrigerate breastmilk. Another question I have is -are all the Woods View rooms the same size? Thanks everyone!

Mouse House Mama -

Yes, I'd definately call and request a 5th floor woods view - like I said, our was by the elevator so I know we were able to see the fireworks from there. I don't know about further down the hallway - I would assume that you could. You may want to request - 5th floor with a view where you could see Wishes from your balcony :)

Also, since you'll be on the phone with them anyway, request a refrigerator at the same time. Ask if there's a fee for that or not as I read on a post somewhere that they were putting small refrigerators in deluxe and moderate rooms anyway. (Not for sure on this, though - just read it the other day)

Hi -

Late (about 10:30) last night I tried calling CR and got a Poly rate of $209 ($233 inc tx) so decided to splurge. Have not stayed there in a few years so it will be a nice treat. Calling so late I did not expect to find such a great rate even with a code. Thought it would be sold out becasue i am traveling in 10 days, but they had code rates available at every resort except the EPCOT resorts for the entire 5 nights.

I check rates on line, but always get better rates when I call. Seems there is no "magic" about finding a particular rate at any give time!

Enjoy the WL - the kids will LOVE it there!!

I am going to be at WL this Sunday and I called to request a mini refrigerator. The CM said currently they are not in that hotel, but for a $10.00 fee per night you can have one. So hopefully we will get it as my son still needs a bottle in the night..

Is there a certain woods "wing" (right or left?) where we can see the fireworks and the electric water pagaent?
