We have had WL booked on at least two other occasions and switched for one reason or another. Two years ago it was because a rate for Boardwalk came out and we could not resist and the time before that was probably my DH wanting to go back to AKL.
We are not changing this time. The whole family is ready to experience the wonderful lodge the last week of August. I have a few concerns though. You see we are in love with AKL but love trying new resorts but there always seems to be pros and cons to just about every resort. I hear some complain about the buses at AKL, but thats one thing that we love about it...your own bus, no stops, and can you just sit back and relax and enjoy the ride.
One of our complaints about the Boardwalk was all the stops you have to make before reaching your destination...How do the WL buses work? Do they share with other resorts or resort? Is it not that big of a deal? Keep in mind that when we stayed at POR the bus stops at other locations and it didn't seem to bother us much, but at the BW for some reason, it seemed like it took forever. Also how far is it to Fort Wilderness. We thought we would take a look see. Maybe try the breakfast there. Read somewhere that it was pretty good. Any comments would be appreciated.
