I got an email with a Game On PIN the other day, and I just called to see exactly what the discount was for. The CM told me it was for 10% off room only with a free Park Hopper and Water Parks and More, or 20% off room only, or 30% off of the room with free Quick Service Dining. She also had no idea about dates. I called again, and got another confusing CM. She told me my PIN was good for a Magic Your Way package, but wouldn't tell me what exactly the discount was, and gave me dates ranging from April of this year to January of next year. When I had her price it out to book, she gave me a price only $10 less than the same dates and tickets I'd priced online! She told me the PIN was already attached to my name when I tried to book online.
My FOURTH cast member was finally helpful! Turns out I had a 35 percent off room-only rate! Since I could use it at the Value Resorts, I went ahead and booked at All Star Music. It saves us about $230. If free QS dining is released later, it might make more sense for us to change our reservation, but I think we'll be happy with this. Can't tell you how excited I am to get a good PIN for the first trip I'm planning on my own.
Has anybody else had similar experiences with this Game On PIN? The last CM said I might even have a 'new' PIN that would have meant she'd have to transfer me to another phone line. I've never heard of that.
