Finally, after 1 year after booking, we are in single digits!!!

We had booked and had planned our trip sooner, but my FIL became very ill and we had to postpone our trip. Sadly, he passed away a few months ago. It's been a hard as we loved him dearly. Our family so needs this trip after so much stress. I never knew when I booked a year ago, it would be an entire year later before we went. I couldn't be more excited!

Sorry to hear about your FIL. It is always hard when you a loved one is lost.

Before my mom passed away she said, "Don't mourn me, celebrate me". And that is exactly what we did.

My first trip in 1998 was with my mom before she passed and I have been celebrating her life in WDW ever since.

Wow, your mom was an amazing woman! What a wonderful thing to say to you before she passed. I am sure you miss her. Thank you for sharing. Your story is very special.
