Finally able to get back to planning,so just booked 3 days at AOA!! before Universal

Hi all,
Well Im finally out of hospital after my Big Operation! It went as well as it could with me ending up being resuscitated and having Adrenaline so then i was kept in Critical care recovery for a while...Surgery took 5 hours I had to have a central line put in my neck, as after 19 attempts on my arms,hands and feet "that all failed" it gave up 4 days later!
I now have a post op infection "Yes i know nothing straight forward" but hope to have that clear up soon without needing to re-open the stictches I had to have a good chunk of my nearly waist length hair shaved which was a bit of a shock and was very upsetting for me but when my hair is down its not too bad but very noticable when its up.(Oh well if thats the price of living ill take it)......

Sooo now to get back to planning this holiday as I have to have complete bed rest for a few wks so nothing else to do but spend my time on DIS catching up with all thats been going on and to plan plan plan....

We have now decided that instead of going to MNSSHP during the 15 nights at SSR we would go on the change over day which is the 23rd so we will now stay at AOA as it looks AMAZING and i know the kids will just love it!! we will stay for 3 nights and go to Universal from AOA for those days and then we will go to Interantional drive for the other 3 days hopefully one of the Universal hotels or maybe the fairfield or another hotel for 2 nights and then the RPR for our last night if we cant get a good rate for RPR for the 3 nights!! Yes I know alot of resort changing but we dont mind so much after being in 1 place for 15 nights!!

Anyways I wanted to say thankyou again for all the messages that I have had from all you lovely guys and the good luck messages on the threads they was very uplifting to read before the Op

yes apparently so! thats what people keep saying that its hip and all I was totally gutted but now im getting over it rather be well and alive then have long hair!

Thanks peeps well the antibiotics seem to be helping so hopefully wont need to go back and have the infection drained.
My bandages will come off 2 wks before we go but i will need to put a wrap on that has padding on the one side if i want to do more extreme rides then space mountain to protect that side where the bones have been taken out as its just a big soft patch.Plus if i get to do rollercoasters we all know how much your head gets shaken around and banged on the side safety bars so this is quite a clever thing to slip on and off when needed..............Although i wont know until the wk before i go wether im allowed to do upside roller coasters or not"Im a ride junky so i really hope i can" then again ill be happy just to be their at all

Really enjoying looking up all the TS restaurent menu's and reading restaurent reviews (something i normally dont find time to do)....
