Finally a response from VMK that makes sense

Ok we all know how much we hated getting responses from VMK. In that what we wrote did not make any sense to what we were complaining or asking about.

Well I have to say congrats to QA_Daisies VMK Player Support.
She sent back an email as follows here a bit of it.

We have recently awarded all the participation prizes to everyone that qualified for them by participating. We are sorry that you feel we have not handled this contest in the way you expect Disney to act. ( rest blanked out)

Well with the response and lily's sorry you could not get into my room I think they are finally getting it

That's the entire message. There is absolutely no acknowledgement, however slight, of my complaint. So I still don't think they are "getting it".

Glad you got a response Belle, but that message still makes no sense to me.

So yet again, we were not participants unless we won.

I think for me, the sad fact is that VMK screwed up, refused to correct their mistake, and will continue to follow the same pattern in the future. Generally the handling of issues has gotten nothing but worse over the years, so I expect no change at this point. Did for a long time only to be let down repeatedly by things happening or not happening in the game. If I am wrong and they do start to pay attention to complaints, I will be pleasantly surprised.

Well I think the fact that they will never agree we all particpated is a dead horse. Sad to say.

What is not dead and what I suggest you write about is what the disney experience means to you. That is basically what my letter was about what makes disney different. The disney experience. How they treat their guests better in most cases better than any other company. That was my big complaint. Disney when they make an oops do what they can to help the guest get back the magic.

Big point is we join VMK to get this virtual magic. That we feel in the parks.
I do think the hosts try really hard to do this.

Some may give examples of the magic of disney. I think that is where VMK is missing the boat. They did try hard for dreams moon. More VMK people got dreams items than in the parks rofl. They made the ears trade able so we could continue the magic. It was us mortals that choice to hang in rooms to get prizes.

In a lot of ways VMK is going is because word of mouth. Or people join VMK boards to find out about the game. So when they see how VMK handles situation many just say not for me.

But I will take the little improvements of finally they trying to get it.

The Disney arm that manages VMK is WDPRO (Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online). A lot of them are in Glendale but there are offices in Lake Buena Vista and N. Hollywood too.
