We're planning our first trip right now for June 2010!! We're gonna stay in Ft. Wilderness in a tent- so it will be cheaper......

Thats sooooo awesome!!!! One of my good friends booked a DCL and didn't tell her son. She woke him up real early for their flight and he had no idea what was going on! (he's only 9) Once they got to the airport in orlando and saw the ME check in he thought they were going to WDW then he said to her "hey this is a looooong ride to WDW" then he saw the Wonder and feraked out! SHe was sooo glad she kept it a secret. Good luck with planning and keeping it from the little ones.

P.S. I am soooo bad at keeping secrets I know i couldn't do it!

Thanks, but now we are looking at changing our dates. My DS10's birthday is January 8th and mine the 10th, so we are thinking about leaving on his birthday. We will just pick him and his brother up early from school. Then on the way to the airport we will give him a birthday card with a Disney gift cert with his spending money on it and a note that he is to use that once he gets to WDW. Then a 2nd gift cert for him to give to his brother to use. Hopefully we can get a good code or deal from Disney and get to make the change in date.

Count us in! We're tentatively scheduled for a 10 day trip starting May 10, 2010. It will be our first vacation to the world since May 2008. We're planning to stay at WL or the Poly, depending on whether or not we get a code or possible AP discount. We are now planning to go once a year starting next year. Can't wait!!

Just got back from the world and I am thinking about a Aug 2010 trip. We have done May the past 2 years and it was good (except for the crazy rain we got this year) but I will no longer be able to do May b/c I will be teaching.

So who goes in August...tell me about it...is free dining always in Aug? Hows crowds? I can only imagine how humid it is....but we could do it

We'll be there Aug 2010 as well. Had to cancel our adults only trip this year due to the budget (or lack thereof, LOL).

We did Free Dining in Aug 2006 and we loved it! It has started in August since then and I will stay hopeful that next year will be the same. As far as the crowds, we were more bothered by the June 2007 crowds by far than we were the Aug 2006 crowds. We still had fun but if I have to do a summer trip (and right now I do as my girls refuse to take time off school), I much prefer August.

Have fun planning...I'll be driving my girls crazy for the next 15 months or so with Disney details, LOL!

Me too Me too!!! The last 2 years we left for Disney either the day the girls got out of school or the day after but this year we will not be going since I just had a baby 2 weeks ago so now we are planning a 8 day trip for June 2010!! We will most likely be staying at BC again because I love being able to walk to both EPCOT and DS if we want to. So much better/ easier then waiting for buses all the time.
I am already starting my mental list of what ADRs I want to shoot for. LoL What can I say I am a foodie and proud of it.

Well, DH has decided that he wants to move our trip up from Oct 2010 like we had planned to maybe May/June 2010! Woo Hoo!!!!! Who am I to complain?

I'll be there in 2010! We live in Tampa, and are used to going at least once a month, but our passes are about to expire, and we won't be able to renew them until March 2010 (getting married and need allllllll our money to go towards wedding expenses! ). So I'm already counting down the days, haha!

Of course, that being said, I guess there's no rule against the occasional DTD trip or dinner at a resort!

We took our kids for their first WDW trip this past April for a full week. Of course, the kids keep asking to go back...

My mom has a condo in Dania Beach (3.5 hrs south of Orlando) and I'm thinking of doing a 1 or 2 nighter while we visit her during March Break 2010.

I can't wait for the 2010 pricing to come out!
