FINALLY... 2010 planning!! Who's going?

Just checking in to see where everyone is at planning wise have finally figured out dates, looking at the last week of January. I am so anxious to get booked, I seem to do better when the package is booked and I can just send money in like a bill until it's paid off. I wondered if I booked a room only and paid on that if I could convert it to a package when the package rates come out in the fall? Has anyone done this before??

My DH has given the green light for April 2010. I would like to surprise my boys this trip. It will be a hard secret to keep!

My buddy August and I are new here, but we aren't new to the Disney scene!

We've officially begun planning for a big high school graduation trip in June 2010. We know it's not the ideal time to go, but we're so excited we just don't care! We're psyched and are already pseudo-planning! We're aiming for 9 nights and 10 days, and may switch resorts during our stay to spend the last couple nights in luxury in a deluxe resort!! We're especially excited because it will probably be the last time we can go for awhile, as we're moving to Los Angeles 2 months later!

My hubby just gave me the green light to plan for Dec 11-17, 2010. We picked the Polynesian. Can't wait! Only 22 months to go!

I'm trying to convince DH to let us stay in a MOD this trip!!!!!

I'm workin on it. We're not sure of dates for 2010 yet, but with DH's work schedule, it has to be February or later... I'll take suggestions! I do know we want to go during value season... but that's all I've got so far.

...and I would LOVE a code!!! (crossing fingers)

July 18th-28th for our Disneymoon! soon to be DH and I are trying to save money for our wedding so we are using our DVC points for our honeymoon. I KNOW poor us right! We are hoping AKV studio concierge for 4 nights, AVC savanna 1 bedroom for 3 nights and vero beach for 3 nights.
I can not WAIT. We are going in Jan 2010 for the marathon weekend but its not much a vacation. Just getting there, registering, running the half and leaving the next day!

End of April/early May of 2010 for us! It will be my daughter's first trip and my son's second trip and he will be big enough for some of the BIG rides! Hoping for WL or CSR!!

We are planning on February or March of 2010. Not sure if it will be a Disney Cruise or a WDW stay yet though. In the best of both worlds it would be a land/sea package like we did in October of 2008.

We're FOR SURE going in November '10. I'm hoping to squeeze in another trip between now and then, but at least I have one guaranteed trip to look forward to!

Planning my family's first trip to WDW for September 2010. started planning so early to try and get an idea for the cost so we could budget each month. now that i've started, i am getting more and more excited and obsessed with reading these blogs. Obsession is the right word for it!

It depends where you're staying on when you book really. I've already put a deposit on a villa because I'm really excited about staying at this particular one and I know they book fast so I already booked that. I think if you are staying on-site you can't book until at least one year out.

Airfare you pretty much are best to wait until 60-90 days out BUT I already am tracking the prices so I know what the trends are. That way I know for next November what was going on this November and make a more educated guess about when to book!

We hoped to go this year but due to the current economic situation we have decided to wait until 2010 - no definate plan yet.....but that is alot of the fun in going to Disney plan and plan again.
