FINALLY... 2010 planning!! Who's going?

Our family has a financial goal of becoming "bad debt free" this year (meaning no credit card debt or car loan debt...the mortgage and student loans will take more time). So as soon as we meet that goal, we will begin putting away funds for another WDW trip. I am guessing it will be in the early months of 2010 ... maybe February 2010.

And yes. I am totally already making plans. It's what I do.

We are looking at having a very large Family Reunion Vacation June or July 2010. There will be approximately 80 of us.

Wow! That is most certainly a grand gathering!!

Yes we will be going in July 2010 over my birthday most likely. Hopefully my daughter who will be graduating HS in 2010 gets to go -she will be going to College and not sure what will be going on.

Course I have 2 trips this year to plan, but its nice to know we are going in 2010 too

Ooh we are going to WDW next year too, although we are going for Christmas 2010/New Year 2011. I'm not sure of the exact dates yet, it depends on when schools break up for Christmas as DH and I are teachers. I'll add a ticker when I know the dates, but I am reading the WDW planning boards daily now! And we decided with our friends today some of the restaurants we are going to book and other places we will go to as we will be there for 2 weeks.

We will be going probably the first week of May 2010. 25th Anniv. trip!! First trip without our 2 DS's. That will be very weird!! Hoping to stay at BC!!!

well, we aren't sure if we are going to DL or WDW next year, as this is the dreaded President's week and Mardi Gras week all on the same week - Pres Day is Monday, February 15, and Mardi Gras is Tuesday, February 16.

Crowds will be insane, so we will most likely do DL, but that mostly depends on the cost of flying - it can be very expensive to fly now a days. If that's the case, we will go to WDW, and deal with the crowds.

We haven't picked our dates yet... not sure when to go. We have gone in October (mid-late) or December (early) the last 3 years. This will be our first 'year off'... ... in 3 years. Oh well- time to start planning for next year! 2010 is WIDE OPEN, so I can pick ANY TIME!! Yet it's so far away...

This morning Larry said we'll be going back next year! WOOT! This year we've got to save for a new car and a new mattress and pay off our debt.

Since I want to go in January it might be 2011 though.

When would you suggest to go in 2010 where there would be light crowds and not hot weather? I was thinking November. Most definitely NOT the 2nd week of December like we did last year. Wow that sounds funny saying last year when we were just there a few weeks ago. That week was PACKED!

so much for DH and his "we're not going back to disney for several years" - he hasn't missed a year out of the past 20 in visiting vegas, so it's off to disney we go! (i can wait 15 months - more time to dream and plan!)

we are planning on going Dec. 10-19,2010 (first trip with DD! and first time during the holidays) we are hoping to convince the rest of DH's brothers and sister and their families to join us (20+ ppl) or maybe just my mom bc she hasn't been to the world since june of 1974 (i don't know how we are related lol )

Me! We are planning for May 2010 (which appears pretty popular!) DH thinks I am slightly nuts for planning so far in advance but we were suppose to go in Oct. 2009 but due to my sisters pregnancies we have had to reschedule!

I know that the dining ADR's window changed to 90 days out - but what about when you can book? Does anyone know how far out you can actually book your resort (package)?? I was thinking like 9 months, but I may be wrong. Anyone know for sure?
