I posted our tentative dining schedule months ago, but I've made some changes . . . And I think this is it - finally! :flower:

Sunday - arrival day

Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern

Monday - Epcot day

Breakfast - Trail's End (We're staying in a Fort Wilderness Cabin)
Lunch - Eating/Snacking around the World Showcase - making sure to get crepes from France, fish & chips from UK, churros from Mexico . . .
Dinner - Princess Storybook Dinner (really worried about the food here!)

Tuesday - MK day

Breakfast - Cabin
Lunch - Crystal Palace
Dinner - Grilling Out at our Cabin

Wednesday - MGM day

Breakfast - Cabin
Lunch - Toy Story Pizza Planet (we have a 5-year-old DD & a 3-year-old son)
Dinner - FDP @ Hollywood & Vine

Thursday - AK day

Breakfast - Cabin
Lunch - Restaurantauras (I really wanted to try Flame Tree, but I think the kids will like the "dino" theme & food here better)
Dinner - Boma (I'm so excited about this restaurant! :Pinkbounc )

Friday - MK day

Breakfast - CRT!!!!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
Lunch - Columbia Harbor House, Pecos Bill's, or The Pirate & The Parrot
Dinner - 'Ohana (can't wait!!! :Pinkbounc )

Saturday - departure day

Breakfast - Chef Mickey's
Lunch - either Columbia Harbor House, Pecos Bill's, The Pirate & The Parrot, or Earl of Sandwich

(On our last day, we plan to eat at CM's, go back into MK "one more time", & then to DTD for shopping before driving to St. Augustine for the night - so I'm actually thinking - lunch in MK & then grabbing a sandwich at Earl of Sandwich for "dinner to go" . . . we'll see . . .)

If we only have the opportunity to eat one counter meal in MK, which would you choose - Columbia Harbor House, Pecos Bill's, or The Pirate & The Parrot?

So, how do our dining plans look? Advice? Opinions? Please feel free to share! And thanks for taking the time to look!

looks good - if you are worried about the PSB dinner how about trying for a breakfast? We have done the bfast twice and I had a dinner planned but was too worried about the food to keep it....and I was able to get a bfast by calling the night before once we arrived....

I love Columbia Harbor House - chicken stips are always fresh tasting to me, and I'm devoted to their apple pie!!

Wendy I don't know how much shoppping you really need to do but most everything at DTD can be bought in the parks. I would rather spend more time at MK then shopppin at DTD just MHO.

Resterantsuraus(sp) has a character meal at breakfast but then is basically McDonalds after that. Your kids would rather spend time in the Dig site. My girls could spend the whole day there. I would choose Flame tree uinstead, the ribs are decent but the seating are is great. The best counter service IMHO at AK is atTusker House which is also themed great.

If you perfer burgers go to Peco Bill's they have the best!

I have to agree with disOrBust in that I THINK your kids will like the dig site @ FT BBQ and you DEFINITLEY wil like the food better...you can get Mc D's anywhere!!!!!!!!! Otherwise the plan looks greatr..you and your kids are going to love LTT!

I would pick Columbia Harbor House as the lst choice too. Definetely go upstairs for a table. Pecos Bill at lunch is a zoo, trying to find a table is a challenge and waiting to get your turn at the fixins bar while balancing a tray of food is a feat in itself. I like the Pirate and the Parrot too. Its a little less crazy then Pecos Bills.

What is the Pirate and the Parrot? What type of food do they serve?

We love Columbia Harbour House. We went to the Restaurantsouras (sp?) at AK one year with the kids and it was just a glorified McD. I would go with TUsker House or Flame Tree Barbeque. I would also skip Toy Story Pizza Planet and go to Sci-Fi for burgers and shakes. THey have much better food there and the kids love the atmosphere of the drive-in. Sounds like a good PS schedule though.

I just wanted to add that we did the FDP at Hollywood & Vine last October and loved it. I don't normally like buffets, but this one was superb! Plus, it was so great walking in and being guaranteed a seat. We had gone the year before and had to stand in the way back and the kid's couldn't see, so we had to put them on our shoulders. Needless to say, they were heavy, it was hot, and we were exhausted.

Doing the FDP was a wonderful way to eat a great meal and get a great seat for a spectacular show! ENJOY!! :cheer2:
