Final week of waiting... now the questions pop in my mind!

Another question: Does the CVS down the street sell beer? Asking for hubby.

Yes. And liquor. And wine. And dessert. And everything else under the sun it seems.

You will need your passports if you order alcohol anywhere.

They might need ID if they order alcohol. I’ve nevet been carded at Disneyland or anywhere in anaheim, but I just know that if I didn’t bring I’d I would be asked. :)

So my youngest is all about Screamin'. I'm a little chicken. I LOVE BTMRR, especially at night. Will I freak out over CS, or will I be able to handle it based on that info?

I think BT is scarier than screamin’. The launch is hard on my allergic/asthmatic lungs, but after that it’s nothing but a blast. Whereas on Bt I’m constantly worried about the space between my head and the wall, ceiling etc. irrational. But there.

I also think Big Thunder is more scary/intense than CS. The loop is not as big a deal as it seems from the sidelines. More like “we’re going up.....now we’re going down.” The anticipation in the line is the scariest part in my opinion.

Thanks for that. I know it's safe and all, and it looks like super fun. I think you're right - it's the anticipation. And BTMRR at night is super scary and fun, so I'm sure I'll like CS.

Regarding MP mostly as this is something new to me.

We are arriving Friday afternoon. Our first day in the parks will be Saturday. We have one email ticket from DLR - can we exchange it for a proper ticket on Friday afternoon at the ticket booths or do we need to wait til Saturday morning (which we're hoping will be our MM)?

Does MP have to be purchased through credit card ONLY, or can we pay with cash or gift cards at the ticket booths?

From what I understand, the basic flow of MP is: I can put MP on all our tickets on my smartphone through the app. When we decide what ride we want (BTMRR!!), it will offer us the rides that are available to us. We then follow the prompts in the app and book our time.

At our time, we show up and can show either our hard copy ticket OR my smart phone to a machine... what does it look like?

I've read there's a second machine closer to the ride we show our ticket/phone to again? A CM is usually there?

Then, once our window is open (90 minutes for MP, 120 for paper FP), we can book another ride like we did the first time.

One more thing: I've been looking for prices on the Trader Sam's menu at allears for the fun drinks. Anyone have a ball-park idea how much I'm looking at for something with a souvenir glass?

Thanks for all your help!
Once you scan your ticket the first time, you can then book another MP. The 90 minute window only applies if you do not use your FP before the end of the 90 minute window.

For example:
You get a FP for Indiana Jones and it is currently noon, the return time is at 12:15-1:15. The app says you can get another FP after 12:30. Now if you don't go on Indiana Jones before 12:30, you have to wait until 12:30 to get your next maxpass. If you go on Indiana Jones at 12:15, the second your entire party has scanned their ticket at the first scanner, you can get another Maxpass, yes while in the FP Return line for Indiana Jones (assuming your phone has coverage there). CMs are always at both machines checking to make sure everyone has scanned in.

As far as souvenir cups, usually around the $15 range is normal for non-alcoholic drinks.
