Final steps and getting membership number?

How often is OC comptroller site updated? When should/could I start calling Disney to get a membership number?
According to Timeshare store, the recorded deed was sent on 11/4.

Start calling around the 14th

I would first call two full weeks after your deed is recorded, if you haven't received your packet by then. Calling any earlier is likely to only frustrate both you and member services.

I got my deed recorded Oct 22, and the DVC number/ points were loaded Monday Nov3/14 (they weren't there Friday Oct 31)

My points were loaded and I obtained my member number 11 days after I saw the deed recorded on the comptroller's site. This was just last month. I received my member number in the mail 7 days later and the card came in the mail another 5 days after that.

It showed up today in the comptroller website as recorded today. So I will try on the 17th.
