Final Preparations...What to let go and what to remember

Thanks everyone for your tips and well wishes! I really appreciate it and as always there are some great ideas that I will definitely use. I think I am ready to just get there!

also mde can go down (and it was all of yesterday). Have some copy of your ADR and fastpasses so you don't have to try to remember them if needed.

This- because I don't trust the MDE to not be down just when I need it! I write out any ADR confirmation numbers and my fastpasses and put them on an index card for each day. Then every morning I stick them in my purse for that day and you would be amazed at how many times I have needed that confirmation number. One night at the CG a CM couldn't find our confirmation number and said bless you when I pulled out the card and gave it to her. Mousekeepers I just write a little note on the hotel note paper and leave it with the tip every morning.

I don't trust Disney IT; just look at how many times MDE is down when you want to make ADRs, FP+, payments, etc. Like disneytam, I write down all our ADRs and FP+ times on index cards and take them with me. I also photocopy the backs of any tickets and take that, too. The rest of it is all just a question of how Disney-obsessed you want to be. And don't sweat the special envelopes for Housekeeping; not only to they NOT call themselves "mousekeeping," but they also find the overly-decorated tip envelopes silly, at best (if my friend who works in Disney housekeeping is to be believed. Apparently there are some choice break room discussions about this!!)

Take a screenshot of each days plans on MDE. Then each day make the screenshot of that day's plans as your lock screen. Everytime you try to open your phone you will see the plans, plus it will save phone battery not opening the MDE app each time.

I did this and it worked great. The one thing I found was that going into MDE from a browser (as opposed to the app) gave me a better screen shot.
