Final Payment Extension Question

My cruise is booked for mid August and my final payment was extended from May to June. I want to book Palo brunch so would still need to be paid in full in May to do so. However, if things are still looking grim in June will I be able to get a full refund if we decide to cancel? I’m assuming the no penalty refund is part of the 30 day extension but just want to be sure before making the payment.

I would definitely call to make sure. Not DCL, but the agency we rented our summer watercolor house thru did the same thing. Delayed the final payment by 30 days. I assumed the cancellation policy followed the new schedule. Thank goodness I called, because it did not. We would have been out our $4400 original payment on my incorrect assumption.

That’s my fear, I will call DCL direct. I’d rather miss out on Palo Brunch than thousands of dollars.

Your mid-August cruise might not even happen, so the Palo brunch would be the least of your concerns. Personally I would not send in any money to a cruise line until the last possible minute, and that's only if I felt sure that I would want to deal with a cruise credit that would result should the ship not sail.

I definitely would NOT send in final payment now.
It is taking a LONG time for refunds.

(I'm booked on a June Alaska cruise. Disney hasn't bothered to cancel for over two weeks now, despite the fact that the cruise WILL be cancelled as the port of Vancouver is closed. Meanwhile, they are sitting on 15k of my money.)
