Final payment and cancellation

So we are taking a trip down to POR Royal Rooms in September and final payment is catching up to me. I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a grace period on final payment for a package? I get paid the day after my final payment is due and want to use some of those funds to pay for the trip.
Would Disney cancel my trip over one day? How much of a grace period is there on final payments for packages?

Thanks!

I paid our upcoming trip off 4 days after the due date. (Unintentionally, I just forgot!) It was never cancelled and I never called anyone. I'm sure if you call, you will be fine!

I just paid my balance last night - it was due on the 6th, so three days late. Completely unintentional - just didn't remember to do it. I was surprised not to get some sort of email reminding me to do it. Other things I've read indicate that if you don't pay on time, you'll eventually get a notice telling you to pay or it will be canceled.

My final payment got messed up and not properly applied. I did get an email a few days after the due date saying that my package would be cancelled if I didn't submit the final payment by X date (which, I *think* was 35 days before check-in). I'd call to be safe, but I don't think that I've heard of anyone's reservation actually being cancelled at midnight of the date after the payment was due.

Thank you everyone. It isn't like I am paying off the whole thing late, just the remaining little bit of a balance. I am definitely more confident seeing others who intentionally or not made payments a couple of days late and were ok.
I might think that if someone didn't make a single payment from deposit to final pay it might be a bit different.
Interesting thought though, with the change to 30 days, I wasn't sure if there was a grace period or not, it sounds like there is.

Why would you risk it and just not call? It is always best to communicate. I truly don't get it. I would just call.

There is no grace period, it is cancelled by computer at midnight. You CAN however call and see if they will give you a day more to pay.

Not true. I just missed my final payment, and I received this email:

I didn't call. They don't just automatically cancel it.
