Final payment after FP+ selections ?

Hi.

This might be a silly question but this is our first trip to WDW so I want to make sure I do things the right way. I would like to make a final payment to our resort package but march 18th is when I make my FP selections. Should I wait ? Will that affect the magic bands linking process ?

Will I need to do something after if I pay before I make my FP selection?

We paid in full around the 45 day mark but made FP+ selections before that right at 60 days. Making selections before being paid in full didn't change anything.

I can't see why that would effect anything, I wouldn't worry.
