Final have power after Hurricane Wilma!!!

I just wanted to let those people with relatives in South Florida know that we are slowly getting our power back. FPL has due dates of 11/15 and 11/22 but I believe most will have power way before those dates. In most cases the telephone and power will come back at the same time. I hope everyone is doing well.


I have to have one since I'm so happy to get my power back!!!

Yeah FPL gives worst case scenerio. Work is usually completed WAY sooner!

Do you know if the Port St. Lucie area has been restored yet? Been trying to reach my friends by email, but so far no response..

I'm not sure about Pt. St. Luciebut last I heard counties north of us had power in many more areas. If the phone rings and you don;t get an error message (ie: all circuits are busy) chances are they have power. Good luck contacting your friends.

Thanks! Their DD and grandbaby were due to fly in Tuesday for 5 weeks (from California) so maybe they've just been busy trying to unravel that mess and get them down there..
