Final decision before booking NPB or NYH

Hi all,
Looks like I'm nearly ready to book for the beginning of december for 5 days in DLP.
This is for my 40th, with husband and 4 year old.

After reading reviews on the New York Hotel, I was wondering if this would be better for us than the Newport Bay.

Originally I was going to book an Admiral suite in the Newport Bay there's a €30 difference with the New York.

Any Idea which one will have the most Christmassy feel?

Also, anyone know if there is a splash pool or something for my son, as we hope to use the steam rooms or sauna.

I stayed at NYH last year and it had a VERY chrissmassy feel with a huge tree inside and outside.

The swimming pool though was deep all over, which my 4 year old coped with but only with armbands. There was alos a little jacuzzi bit at the top end, but that was out of order the 2nd day LOL!!!

I am going to stay at Sequioa Lodge this Christmas, which I have looked into and with peoples opinions on here, that seems to be favourable to be more Chrissmassy than the Newport Bay
