Final Character Dining Cost (Goofys)

We have Goofy's Kitchen booked for 3 adults (son is 12) and 1 child. From my calculation, the total cost is $134 ($39/adult, $17/child).

I've heard people mentioning dining tickets from Get Away Today. However, when I look at their cost it is $47/adult and $29/child for a total of $170.

Get Away Today makes a comment that it includes tax and gratuity. The price on price I've seen from wdwinfo.com and other sites doesn't mention tax and gratuity at all.

So is the full Goofy's Kitchen cost $134? Or if not, what is the total cost? Trying to figure out if Get Away Today is any savings. We're going Aug 29 if that makes a difference on time of year.

What is current tax rate ? If it is 8% and they add 18% gratuity, then the total cost for non-voucher is $168, which is $2 less than Get Away Today (so no advantage for dinner).

I was just looking into this as well. My guess is there are coupons or discount codes that make this deal worthwhile. I haven't been able to find any that work...but i'll let you know if I do!

It provides a small savings for dinner - the price is $39/adult and $23/child for dinner, which does not include tax and gratuity. Here is my cost estimate:

Base dinner: $140
Tax at 7.75%: $10.85
Gratuity at 18%: $25.20
Total: $176.05
So if Get Away Today's price is $170, that is a $6 savings.

However, if you are doing breakfast which is $36/adult and $21/kid, then that cost would be:

Base breakfast: $129
Tax: $10.00
Gratuity: $23.22
Total: $162.22

Get Away Today provides negative return on this one! You could call GAT and ask why the discrepency.

Disney doesn't include tax or gratuity in the prices on their website. Be prepared to add tax to all your food purchases and tips to all TS including buffet style.

Thank you! This really helps . The cost I had written down for kids is slightly less than you have but guess it depends what website you look at. Either way, the dinner cost is quite close that I think we'll just stick with the non-voucher (just in case any changes up to 24 hours beore).
