For my next trip it is just going to be me and my two best friends (we're all 20). I have been to Disney quite a few times, but neither of my friends have ever been! We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside. The parks that I listed are not necessarily where we will be all day, just for the meal. Breakfast will be in the room or food court and lunch will be counter service for the most part. How does this look for a plan for first-timers?

Day 1 (arrival): Dinner at Boma

Day 2: Magic Kingdom-lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table, dinner counter service (any suggestions?)

Day 3: MGM-dinner at Sci-Fi

Day 4: non-park day-character breakfast at 'Ohana, dinner at Boatright's or somewhere in Downtown Disney, open to suggestions!

Day 5: Epcot- dinner at San Angel Inn

Day 6: Not sure! I am thinking of Grand Floridian Cafe, Spoodle's, or something in MGM. This is the night that we plan on seeing Fantasmic!

Day 7: Epcot-Restaurant Marrakesh (never tried this, is it any good?)

Day 8: departure. Our flight doesn't leave until 7:50pm so I figure Magical Express will pick us up around 5 so there would be time for a character breakfast or lunch in a park somewhere. Should we just take it easy on our last day or should we pick one final meal?

Thanks for any help!

Yummmmmmm.

Cosmic Rays has a decent rib platter.

Day 7: Epcot-Restaurant Marrakesh (never tried this, is it any good?)
The Bastilla appetizers were good as was the crepe's Atlas desert. But the entrees had no spice whatsoever. The Lemon Chicken wasn't cooked through and it wasn't even close. The Kabobs were dry as sawdust Only the lamb was decent and it had no spice. The Belly Dancer and the band were good though.

When we did Fantasmic, we went to Hollywood and Vine on the Fantasmic Dinner Package and got in the reserved section. It ended up being a good thing we did because when we waked up about 30 minutes before the show to the reserve entrance, the regular section was full already. Even the overflow areas ended up packed. It was good. Everything was fresh when we went. It's nothing fancy though. We also went to Spoodles on the same trip and loved it.

Chef Mickeys for Breakfast, or Crystal Palace. You can't really go wrong at either. Just depends on if you like Pooh and friends or Mickey and the gang.
Day 5: Epcot- dinner at San Angel Inn
Never been. But this one gets bad reviews here and bad marks in the UG.

You have some really good choices here. I might suggest Columbia Harbour House for your CS at MK.

If your not going to do the Fantasmic Dinner Package, what about ESPN club or Prime Time?

On your last day, I would suggest lunch at Kona Cafe.

Also, I would give Marrakesh and San Angel a try. I have heard mixed reviews, but they sound like a lot of fun.

You'll have a great time!

Any suggestions for my Downtown Disney dinner? Or should we try Boatwrights?

Good choices. Try R&C in Epcot.
