Filming for Christmas Parade?

Has anyone heard when they are filming this year? I know that traditionally it is the weekend after Veteran's Day which puts it smack dab the weekend we are there..... If it is still happening that weekend, has anyone been there when they are filming and can you help give me an idea of what to expect?

yes it will be that weekend and you can expect massive crowds and chaos..however, because the parade is mostly on Main St., if you go to other parts or even DCA while its going on it might not be so bad

Sound like a trip in on the monorail from DLH into DL and GCH entrance to CA will be the plan for the weekend. I hope everyone is so busy looky-looing the parade that we will be able to do what we want away from main street! Thanks for the info.

That is a good idea. I have never been on the taping day, but I have read reports from others and they always said that Main St. was packed but the lines for rides weren't bad at all. If you are not interested in the parade then do the monorail into Tomorrowland and hopefully enjoy the shorter lines.

Oh my gosh that is so cool, we will be there that weekend! Where can I find out more details or will it be a check with a CM when we get there type of thing?
