Film in the parks

I have a question.

This is our first Disney trip so of course we will be taking a lot of pictures. (I love taking pictures anyway)

I just would like to get a feel on how many rolls of film everyone takes to the park per day?
I don't want to run out & then have to buy some in the park at a premium price!

On our first trip we were there for 4 days and took 12 rolls of film. We've been there many times since and now we take 1-2 rolls per trip. At first you want to take a picture of every attraction, so I'd plan on at least 2 or 3 rolls per day, and probably more.

Definitely stock up on film! Our first trip I took 16 or 17 rolls of film in 5 days. I still take a lot of pictures.....we did buy a digital camera this year to try and help with the though. Good luck and have a wonderful trip!!

On my last trip I went through 6 disposable cameras and 8 camcorder tapes. I LOVE to take as much film as possible when I'm there, since it is typically once a year. Whenever I need a WDW fix, I just go through my pictures, then pop in one of my tapes and relive the magic.

for 2 weeks I used 12 rolls of films but then I have been at WDW for the past 7 yrs. Even when I usually go a week -10 days I tend to take the less.
this yr we waited and got our film at the super Walmart on Sand Lake Rd and also got our film developed there as we didn't want the hassle of taking the exposed film through the security check.

Hmmm....

I have already brought 16 rolls of film for 2 weeks. I am wondering if that will be enough.

I do love taking pictures. We were in San Diego for 5 days & we ended up taking 12 rolls!!

I might buy a few more rolls (8-15 more) & then whatever I don't use just bring it back home.

I am thinking on bringing 3 rolls to each park a day? But then that would mean 36 rolls of flm (not including depature date since we are leaving somewhat early)

what speed of film is the best to use? Right now I have mostly 200 speed. But I heard that for nighttime or darkness I should use 400. What do you use?

My last trip to the parks I brought 15 rolls of film, and went to Sams Club for more for 8 more. My friends always tease me about taking out stock in Kodak when I go on vacation. I usually use 400 speed.

Hi I use 400 speed and take in 2 rolls per day One in camera and one extra ( but i don't use it all ) we are vacationing for a total 10 days this year and I will have 15 rolls ( some 25exp and 3 are 40exp. ) hope this helps you .. Michelle
