Film Developing

It seems like more and more places are doing away with conventional film processing and it is getting harder and harder to find any reasonable priced options.
The local Best Buys used to charge $3.99 for standard double prints, but they recently stopped all film developing. The local Walgreens offers only Kodak processing and that would be $9.99 for double prints. OUCH
So, are there any suggestions?

I've always liked walmart. I think it's 3.94 for singles and 4.94 for doubles, 2 day service (it's actually more like 3-day unless you drop it off in the morning and 5 day if it's over a weekend). It's the best deal I've found. I think sams is a little cheaper.

Check the Wal-Mart and Sam club's that's where I found cheap film developing at.

I have used Snapfish, it is very reasonable -- you mail them your film, and they mail you back your prints, plus they make them available for online viewing -- so you can share them with your friends on the boards! Plus, then they are stored online so you can always order more if you lost the negatives or had a fire etc. I think I paid around 3.00 for double prints, but I might have had a coupon for ordering the first time. Anyway check out their prices, it's very reasonable and also very convenient if you don't mind waiting a few days (not as fast as one-hour developing).

Thanks Becky, I think I will sign up and give them a try. I did take my film to the local Super Wal Mart (MAN that store is ALWAYS so crowded). I think the quoted price was $4.99 for 3" double prints.
