Has anyone applied for a Canadian Passport in 2014 or 2013?

For Weight & Height section do we provide "2" sets of weight & "2" sets of height information (in metric & in imperial) OR do we provide only "1" set of weight & height info (EITHER in metric or imperial).

The current form shows (cm/in) in the Height section and (kg/lbs) in the Weight section.

Not sure if the form wants us to show BOTH metric and imperial figures OR for use to CHOOSE a system and make sure that we consistently stick to either metric or imperial measurements.

I'm thinking the latter? Choose one ... would be kind of weird to provide figures in both metric and imperial.

Thanks for your prompt replies.

You can just pick one, and mix and match if you wish. I had my weight in lbs and height in cm and all was fine.

Isn't it fun being in a country that never really went metric? On the other hand, all my cup measures have both measurements on them...

They want weight and height now?! I find that weird considering weight and height(in kids) can change so much.

I just renewed my passport last month and entered my height and weight in metric.

Update: submitted application this afternoon (April 17, 2014). Confirmed with agent that you just choose one (metric or imperial) and give the weight & height.

I'm guessing the application form changed (form is slightly different from one I used a few years back) to show these units of measurement on the form to serve as a reminder that the "unit of measurement" must be indicated. Probably people were just giving a "number" in the allotted space and forgot to indicate the unit of measurement.
