Filled To Capacity !!!

Are all days surrounding Xmas filled to capacity ???

Or is it just Xmas Eve, Xmas Day and New Years ??

We were there in 2002 from the Friday before Christmas (Christmas Day was the following Wednesday) to the Saturday after. The weekend before was fairly crowded but as we got closer to Christmas Day, the crowds started increasing and stayed that way until we left.

The week of Christmas and New Years are probably the most crowded times of the year.

Let's put it this way, we very much enjoyed being able to experience the holiday season at WDW, but we have absolutely no desire to return during that time of year again, except maybe at the beginning of December if given the chance.

I simply cannot stand the crowds!!!

I can't stand crowds either. We went about a week before Easter of 2005. Crowded !! Crowded !! MGM was the worst. We've been back at slower times since then. I plan on not doing alot of rides. We're just gonna enjoy being IN WDW during the holidays. Not really intending on getting much done. We've got many ADR's for the resort restaurants. I think our last day in the parks will be 12/22. After that we're stearing clear. Except for Chef Mickeys. Which will be our next to last day.

I guess I was just wondering if the parks were filling to capacity as early as December 17th or 18th ?

I wouldn't think that they would be filled to capacity that early. Most school systems don't let out until closer to the 20th or so. You are probably looking at moderate crowd levels around the 17th and 18th.
