Filet gone at LeCellier too?!

Glad to hear it - not sure why she would 1. Lie or 2. be told it was not there anymore when she was there for dinner, but there is some miscommunication somewhere!

The sign out front that has the menu only lists the filet being available for lunch but it was on the menu for dinner when we went in. Maybe she just read the outside menu?

My son is a server at Le Cellier and told me that the Chef there has threatened to quit if he is forced to remove the filet. The Chef believes that it one of their signature dishes, and removing it would take away something that is fast becoming unique in WDW. The reason Fillet has been removed from most places is simple economics, it's a very expensive cut of meat, most WDW restaurants lose money on that meal (especially in free dining). Lastly - no maple filet any more, but you can get the mushroom version without the mushroom topping if you ask.

We were there a few weeks ago and the menu that is posted outside did not have the filet listed. But once inside, it was still on the dinner menu and was delicious!
