My friend is in Disney right now, and she called me tonight to check in and told me that the filet is gone from LeCellier too :(

I know there has been a lot of talk about Filet being taken off the menu at many places, but I was hoping a steak house would keep it on.

The CM told her it is still on the lunch menu, but off the dinner menu.

I am bummed - I was so hoping for the Mushroom Filet in Oct!

You can NOT be SERIOUS!! WT{!? :scared1:

I was there the day before yesterday and had the mushroom filet. Relax people.

No Way!!!:scratchin I doubt this is true.

They would have a mutiny on their hands!pirate:

Maybe they were out of the fillet??? :confused3
I was just there 2 weeks ago and had the fillet.... it was fabulous :lovestruc

maybe she was talking about the maple filet? It's been gone off the menu for awhile but people still miss it, and those that don't read these boards are shocked when they get there & it's not on the menu anymore.

There are a lot of very current reviews (during the Free Dining) for Le Cellier over on the Dining Review threads, and people are giving reviews of the mushroom filets (and pictures, too.)

If it wasn't the maple filet she was missing, maybe they had just run out for that particular meal when your friend was there.

Folks should note that menu items come and go at all restaurants. Maybe it'll be on the menu when you visit; maybe it won't.

I hope its not gone  - we are wanting atleast one adult type meal when we are there in Oct. & was looking forward to the steak, maybe Coral Reef would be a better choice, since the steak seems to come and go at LC :confused3 .

Le Cellier is a steak house. There are other steaks on the menu. Unless a filet is the only steak you want - in that case before you jump the Le Cellier ship, be advised that Coral Reef reportedly hasn't had a filet on the menu in awhile, while this thread has several posters who ate at Le Cellier within the last couple of days and ordered mushroom filet.

Oh good...I wasn't aware of that. I think we will hang tight here :lovestruc. Thank you so much for you feedback

We were there a week ago and had a wonderful filet with mashed potatoes! Great meal, still on the menu! Also had an excellent New York Strip Steak at Coral Reef.

Good lord, don't scare me for that - I have been dreaming about my next mushroom filet mignon since I tried it last year! :lovestruc

I hope not. That' s all I eat. Also that doesn't make a lot of sense . If they are known for there steak why get rid of the best steak :confused3
