Any thoughts on why our Christmas day FP for mid-day on this ride were suddenly cancelled and replaced by FP for Nemo (which we already have for a different day)?

There have been other reports here of that happening for Christmas day, but no one seems to know why. If I recall correctly, others are able to get FP's for later dates, so it seems to be a one-day thing.

Wonder if "basic guests" are being moved around for "special guests" who might be visiting on Christmas Day????

If this were for a "good" attraction (and not Journey Into Imagination,)
you might be right.

But, JII is a slug regardless of what day you visit.

It really looks like these JII FP+ changes are are just a system glitch.

And, as I mentioned in another thread about this, I'd just ride JII via the standby line and use FP+ for a more desirable (and harder to ride) attraction. (Which would be just about any other attraction at Epcot.)

I posted with the same problem. Is Spaceship Earth worth getting a FP for as far as lines go? Mission Space and Captain EO were also available, along with with the Nemo ride and Turtle Talk with Crush. I haven't been since the old FP system, so I'm clueless as to what FP's are more desirable. Other than Test Track and Soarin', we really don't have priorties as far as rides. I'm just trying to save time and also clueless to Christmas crowds, as we have always gone over July 4th. Any suggestions as to the most useful FP's would be greatly appreciated!

So excited having our luggage tags arrive! It makes it seem much more real!

FP+ priorities found HERE.

They're giving Eric Idle the day off to spend with his family.
