Figment & Dreamfinder limited edition holiday t-shirt

Disney Parks on-line is offering another limited edition Epcot themed t-shirt, this one with Figment & Dreamfinder from JII with a holiday theme.

Only problem is that shirt doesn't ship for 6 to 8 weeks, after Christmas!

Does this make any sense?

If i had saw this in mid november...i would have probably actually bought one for nostalgia...
but they lost my $29.95 (which is $27.83 in pure profit)

Thanks for posting! I just sent the link to DH as a 'hint' for a XMAS gift.

I really like Figment's face on the shirt; some of the merchandise (like the pins and stuffed animals) have his face kind of smooshed.

Yup, makes perfect sense for Disney and the accountants. They take orders on line, then they make exactly what they need. They know everyone will wait just to get one and there you have it. Make lots of $$ on a limited edition shirt and no left over merchandise to discount or sit around.

That is exactly what they did with the Epcot shirts for the anniversary as well. Kind of kills that magical feeling doesn't it?

Yes, that's it. The limited edition t-shirts always ship 6 to 8 weeks after you place your order. This way Disney prints exactly the number of shirts ordered and they're not left with any unsold shirts.
