Villains' Sinister Soiree: A Wicked Takeover of Cinderella Castle, Continued....

While the Villains were meeting guests, the dessert plates were served. Each plate had four different desserts.

The Queen’s ‘Bleeding Heart Apple’ - White wine poached apple with a cherry center. This was Figment’s favorite of the desserts; the apple was still crispy and it had a nice and light flavor.

Maleficent’s ‘Dragon-Toasted Confection’ – Pistachio mousse topped with crisp meringue.

Dr. Facilier’s ‘Chocolate Tarot Card’ – Dark chocolate-covered pecan praline and flourless chocolate torte.

Cruella DeVil’s ‘Spotted Chocolate Mousse Cake’ – 101 layers of white chocolate and dark chocolate mousse with a hint of raspberry.

Intermittently, Lady Tremaine (and her daughters) would perform. They sang (or tried in the case of the Stepsisters) Sing Sweet Nightingale and Royals (by Lordes). Eventually, the party drew to a close and Lady Tremaine asked everyone to leave. The servers brought containers and bags for us to pack up our souvenirs and leftovers. Figment got to keep the poison apple glow cube, Maleficent stir rod, and Maleficent Dragon sipper cup (with candy). There were also lots of leftovers to take back to the hotel.

The soiree ended a little before 1:00 am, so by the time Figment exited the castle, MNSSHP had been over for almost an hour and there weren'’t many other guests in the park (just the other guests of the Soiree). It was very peaceful as Figment walked down Main Street.

Figment still managed to do a fair amount of trick-or-treating!

For Figment, the Villains Sinister Soiree was a chance to try something new. It was pricey, so it something he would only do once (per year at any rate), but he really enjoyed the party. The viewing area was great and he enjoyed not having to jostle for a viewing spot. The reserved viewing didn'’t really save much time (for the parade or the fireworks), but it was far less crowded in that area. That was really great, as was being able to sit down and watch the castle projection show and HalloWishes. The dessert party itself was a lot of fun. It was a great chance to meet a lot of villains and try some really good desserts. Overall, Figment would happily go back to see the Villains take over Cinderella’s Castle again!

TPlease do tell us of all which you thought was the best value overall. (And which ones let you have seconds...and thirds...lol)
In truth, Figment didn't really go back for many seconds at Party for the Senses or the 3D Dessert Party because there were so many things to try that he was pretty full by the time he make one complete circuit through all of the items. :goodvibes

At Party for the Senses his favorites Braised Pork Belly with Chinese Herbs in “Far Dew” Wine, Deep-Fried Mille-Feuille of Scallop and Mushrooms Duxelles with Nori Sauce and wasabi Oil, Braised Short Ribs with Porcini Port Wine Sauce, Parsnip Puree, Crispy Shallots, and Baby Radish Greens, and the Braised Veal Cheek and Butter-Poached Lobster, Carrot Puree and Port Wine Glaze. He had second of these items.

At “3D” Disney’s Dessert Discovery his favorites included some of the charcutiere selections, the Butter Pecan Cupcake with Buttercream, Chocolate Ganache Bar with Candied Bacon Crumbles, the S’Mores, and the Chocolate Covered Strawberries.

The Villain's event was pre-plated, so Figment didn't have second of anything, but there was so much that he didn't need more! The white wine poached apple was by far Figment's favorite. It was amazingly tender, yet still crispy on the inside. It was so good!
