Fiesta Margareta ?

I agree with others who say they are weak. Mine was pretty wussy (I got lime, I don't like to mess with the margarita). But it was a hot day when I had it, so it was nice and refreshing. It just seemed like they forgot the tequila! And I'm a VERY cheap drunk.

Huh. The ones we've had have been quite strong.

I thought the margaritas outside of Mexico were pretty good but I would advise only getting a single flavor. When they are all mixed together it ruined the flavors but alone these babies were great! On the alcohol side, I thought they were pretty strong especially since we got one then quickly drank it as we waited in line in Norway!

Whew! I'm glad others have said they don't seem strong to them either, otherwise I'd be wondering why my tolerance level is so high. :teeth:

 Belle's Mom! How's that pretty girl doing?

My DMIL and I got one of these. I couldn't taste the alcohol, but I was feeling good at little past half of it. Got another a couple of days later. It didn't seem as strong. Got salt both times.

Also, thought this was funny. We had some guys in front of us that ordered for a friend of theirs. When they handed the "Fiesta" to him, he said "I didn't order a Napoleon".

Enjoy your trip, and hey, why not get two, one with sugar and one with salt!!!!

Correct me if I am wrong, is this the frozen one they serve from the dispensers outside in Mexico? If so, I couldn't even tell they had tequila in them, let alone any of the other alcohols that make a "true" margarita! Not too strong, not strong at all, actually I couldn't say they even had alcohol in them. (and I have had them at least twice so it wasn't a random aberration)

Margaritas are my favorite drink, but these are pathetic frozen, fruity concoctions disguised as alcoholic drinks. :teeth:

gimme a non-frozen, on the rocks margarita made with a blend of alcohol, please.

Good, I'm not the only lush, because I thought mine was a sorry excuse for a margarita. I liked it because it was cold, but it did nothing in terms of buzz.

This...on the other hand, is a margarita...from my fave Mexican place in NYC.

The X-File...I have no idea what's in it, but I'm pretty sure you'll see aliens after your third one. ;) Did I mention how great it is that this place is around the corner from my job? :teeth:

I love the Fiesta Margaritas but they are strong. Dh and I got two should have shared. DD was holding my cup while I went to the bathroom and she cracked the cup. I come out of the bathroom and DH is chugging the drink. He promptly hands me the cup and says "BRAIN FREEZE". I start chugging and combining the drinks. I got such a buzz. We went to China and saw the acrobats. I started looking for the oyster picking pearl place. I couldn't find it after looking all over. I was seriously tipsy.

I was pushing the stroller and weaving. I asked a CM where the pick a pearl location was. She had a really blank look and just smiled. You see I trudged on my daughter wants to pick an oyster and get a pearl. She smiled "NO". Yeah you pick an oyster and get a pearl. "You want Japan". DING DING we have a winner. My husband busted out laughing. I walked away tail between the legs and he just couldn't let it go. "They all look alike don't they". SHUTIE UPIE with a hand put up to silence him. He has never let me forget it.

Thank goodness we were going to Germany to eat at the Biergarten. I didn't sober up until half way through dinner.

The Fiesta is pretty good, but I'm a sucker for the lime. I was in WDW the end of June - the total price is $8.26 ($7.75 plus tax). Enjoyed a few margaritas while there; I guess that's how I remembered the price. Have a wonderful trip!!

Too funny! I was laughing out loud! Id never let you live it down either..JK! Oh wow I am a cheap drunk I better sip on mine...lol

They used to be much stronger...since they moved the booth to the other side they definitely have been dumbed down...no tequila presence at all - it's a shame...used to be one of our favorites at WDW but don't bother with it and head right to the Germany beer cart instead.

Are the Fiesta Margaritas premixed with alcohol, or could I ask for 1/2 the amount of alcohol? My next trip is solo, and I don't like to drink much alcohol when I'm solo. But then, I'm not much of a drinker anyways. I'd like to try this Fiesta Margarita, but I'm so scared off by the reports of its strength!

Hmm....I am probably the voice of dissent here, but I really didn't like them. And I totally enjoy a well-made margarita and strawberry margarita!

It had that syrupy/sour flavor that I don't love...but probably because some of my favorite restaurants here use a different tequila and make the drinks from a fresher mix? Who knows. I just won't be spending the $8-10 on another Fiesta and will give another drink a shot this next time ;)

Maybe it just goes to show that the mexican food and tex-mex really are better in Texas :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: (ok, IMO at least!)

Simba's Mom, if I remember correctly they are pre-mixed, and you wuldn't be able to do this. But it's been a year, so someone else might say differently.
