Ok I normally do not like margaretas but this looks good. See I dont like sour drinks is this one sour? Can you choose whether to get salt or sugar on the rim and how much are they?

It wasn't sour and I didn't get salt (I don't remember if that was even an option). I think it was $7.50. It was VERY good, but strong. DH and I shared one.

Wasnt sour.. Good, thats what I was hoping.. Guess I better share with someone so Im not stumbling thru WS and get sick on the Norway ride..lol

lime margaritas in Mexico at Epcot are Yum, Yum, Yum!!! My mouth is watering now, they are strong, but they are delicious. When I was there in March you could get them rimmed with either salt or sugar...but imho salt is the way to go! :thumbsup2

I shall be enjoying the drinks around the world and around the monorail in my upcoming September trip. I can't wait!! :hourglass

I had a strawberry one in June and it wasn't nearly as strong as before. Maybe they had to tame it down?

the Fiesta Margarita is the best. You can get either salt or sugar. My Fiance and I share one and it gets us a little tipsy :woohoo: (maybe its from the heat)

we get it with sugar b/c my fiance hates salt.

Correct me if I am wrong, is this the frozen one they serve from the dispensers outside in Mexico? If so, I couldn't even tell they had tequila in them, let alone any of the other alcohols that make a "true" margarita! Not too strong, not strong at all, actually I couldn't say they even had alcohol in them. (and I have had them at least twice so it wasn't a random aberration)

Margaritas are my favorite drink, but these are pathetic frozen, fruity concoctions disguised as alcoholic drinks. :teeth:

gimme a non-frozen, on the rocks margarita made with a blend of alcohol, please.

MY DH is a drinker and HE even thought they were too strong!
He didn't like the Fiesta's, the mix of flavors sometimes don't go well together. I liked it though.

I LOVE the fiesta margarita. Does it taste like a true margarita from a Mexican Restaurant...no. I love those too. It is more like a multi flavored slush puppy with booze. It is great in the heat and I think it is rather strong. I like mine with sugar on the rim. I usually am ready for a little nap after I drink one!

Signed...Light Weight Cheap Date

I had one inside the restaurant and it had a good kick to it. I drank the whole thing by myself ;)

I agree! LOL

As for the alcohol content (or lack thereof) it must vary quite a bit from batch to batch.
signed, definitely not a cheap date ;)

:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao:

I was there today and had the Fiesta Margarita. I too prefer them on the rocks with salt, but this is a good alternative while in the park. I had mine with sugar. It was nice and refreshing in the afternoon heat. The first sip seemed strong, but after that it was fine, oh and definitely not sour. :woohoo:

I noticed the same thing.I was starting to think they removed the alcohol all together.Kinda dissapointed.

Well, I really love the Fiesta Rita, I always have to get at least one!
But honestly I could never tell if there was any alcohol either.
And I am NOT a boozer either, lol. Usually one on the rocks rita is more than enough for me :drinking1

In December my strawberry didn't seem nearly as strong as my friend's fiesta. I loved mine but she couldn't finish hers so I tried some of hers and it almost knocked me off my feet! :rotfl:

 Where can I get the best Pina Coladas.

Aalso where do you get those Fiesta Margaritas?

Thanks Tigger

I always thought they were an alcoholic drink disguised as a frozen, fruity concoction. That's why I like them.

They don't have a very strong alcohol taste but they do always get me a little fuzzy. Then again, I don't like the true margaritas where the alcohol taste is strong and not sweet. It depends what you like.

I also agree that the alcohol content is likely to vary. Different CM's make the batches and based on how long it's been in the machine the degree of "frozenness" may differ so that might affect how alcohol is divided through a batch in the machine.

I like the strawberry and the mango the best. The lime is a little sour/tart but still tastes good. If you have a flavor preference you can get just that flavor, but a fiesta margarita is one that has all four flavors.

The stand in Mexico serves about 4 or 5 flavors or you can get the rainbow margarita (not sure if that's called a fiesta or not) with a little of each layered on top of each other. My wife lives for these. They are very good and I believe you can get either salt or sugar on the rim of the glass (or neither).

I agree with others who say they are weak. Mine was pretty wussy (I got lime, I don't like to mess with the margarita). But it was a hot day when I had it, so it was nice and refreshing. It just seemed like they forgot the tequila! And I'm a VERY cheap drunk.
