Field Trips in May to Disneyland?

I was wondering whether or not Disneyland is prone to field trips in the last week of May. Do most schools choose not to go because locals go to Dineyland so frequently? Or do they go anyway. If thats the case, is the crowd influx noticeable? Thanks.

I would bet most school trips would be over spring break. I know that is when my school plans for field trips to DL (I teach high school in AZ). May would be an awkward time for field trips in general as it is the end of the school year and teachers are wrapping up the year, reviewing and giving finals (for upper grades).

Our 8th graders go to DL every May (up to 850 students, but normally only about half choose to go). They load up the busses Friday evening, drive all night, are in the park all day/evening Saturday, then drive home over Sat. night and return to the school parking lot on Sunday AM.

Also, a lot of high schools have Grad Night there and the park will close early for that.
