just curious if anyone is a weird as me when it comes to certain fictional characters.

i was watching some jim/pam videos on youtube just now and i made me so emotional! i feel such an emotional attachment to them/their relationship.
i'm the exact same with jack & rose (as anyone who knows me would know )

anyone else to same way with any fictional characters.

i find "soul" characters. which to my group, are characters that are you just animated or exist in between the pages of a book. mine are:

-riku from kingdom hearts (im the eldest of my two friends, im very protective, i dont like to admit im wrong or show that im scared, i will do anything for my friends no matter what happens to me.)

-tamaki from ouran high school host club (im a complete doofus, im loud and obnoxious, my heart is in the right place and my friends are my family, i wont ever let you see me upset and am concerned with making people smile. very childish and happy.)

-fai from tsubasa resevoir chronicle (i rarely let people see me upset and am always smiling instead, i always end up wearing my happy mask even when i dont want to smile,im loyal and make my friends my family and im always trying to cheer them up)


-tinker bell (she looks the most like me: blonde, blue eyes, hips. shes steadfast and faithful. has a jealousy problem)

i am deeply in love with the character of holden caulfield, and i have been ever since i read that book for the first time the summer before my 9th grade year.

they probably identified so many of their own qualities with him that they hated him. holden is everything that you shouldn't like about yourself. he's needy, indesisive, he can be cruel, he is lost and doesn't necessarily want to be found. but, underneath all of that, holden is a child. he needs to be taken care of, but he thinks he's too old to ask anyone to. and that is the quality that you fall in love with, over all of his faults, you just want to take care of him.

if someone didn't like him, its probably because they saw too much of themselves in him.
