As you know this is our first trip so just a few more questions .

How long is the walk from the main park to the studios ?

could you fill a day at the studios or would you recommend half day visit. That said is it better to do morning or afternoon:confused:

Many thanks :goodvibes

Hi there

The walk from gate to gate should be just less than 10 minutes - the area outside the front of the Disneyland Hotel is deceptive - it's a lot larger than it looks at first glance. It's a very easy walk.

People will have different opinions about the Studios and it depends on what your party consists of and what they like to do. I would recommend going there straight away at the moment to try and get crush's coaster and Cars. You also have the Good Morning parade, afternoon parade, lights, motors action show, backlot tour, cinemagique and animagique which take up a good bit of time. You can also do the art of animation area and take part in drawing some characters - it very much depends. You'll also find various character interactions and of course more attractions (Rock N Roller, Armageddon, Aladdin etc). It depends on you - you could stretch it to a day or cut it as short as you like.:wizard:

We have 3 kids aged 14,12 and 9 who arent interested in the characters

anymore after numerous WDW visits.

They do like coasters so Crush will be a first on the list as I believe there is

no fast pass.

We didnt get to go on Crush's coaster as there was a wait of 85 mins :( in the boiling hot sun ,so didnt fancy that lol

so thats def top of my list for next time ! :)

Hi, we normally go to the Studios first thing in the morning when it's not too busy or hot and do the Backlot Tours and then go and see the Motors Action show, then the parade and Animagique. Then when it gets busy, of to the Disneyland Park.

If you are planning to get on crush , be there for opening, and run straight to it,lol as you go through the main entrance building, turn right and head straight on for crush,i have just returned from a trip there, and ten minutes after opening the queue was for two hours and i never saw it for less than ninety minutes, good luck, you will find a difference as the queueing system for most things does not exsist, and i learnt late in my trip, that you just take your chance and push and shove.

We rode Crush on opening day, the queue was about 75 minutes, it was well worth the wait though! Do this ride first thing in the morning, as suggested already, turn right when the gates open and head for the big blue building! Other "must do's" include...Armaggeddon, Backlot tour, rock n rollercoaster, stunts moteurs action show, animagique and cinemagique. These were our favourite attractions in the studios, when we return we will return to these then head into Disneyland Park, about 600 metres away. Happy planning!!
